(Okay. We'll start on the first day. It's mid August and it's still pretty hot, but won't be for long. Nights are chilly though. It's morning and everyone should either be arriving at the school or in their dorm house. All our characters share a house. It's a Victorian style house, so lots of windows and locks that need keys. So you will need a key to get into the house and into your room. Students should have this already. Pretty much it. Except that everyone has a roommate. You can start after you've read this. So, now would be good. The roleplay is open. So have fun!)

(Actually.....shouldn't all the boys have one big room and all the girls have one big room to encourage interraction? They can have curtains seperating. One living room, four bathrooms, one kitchen.)

Jodi shuffled and re-shuffled her entrance papers, to be handed to her homeroom teacher. Time and time again, she assured her self she couldn't possibly be the only student starting her first year at the academy. She'd gotten up over an hour early, dressed and prepared for her day, with nearly ten minutes to spare. Her eyes watched each tick of the clock, moving with the minute hand. Finally, it was time for her to leave her dorm. She threw her book bag over her shoulder and jogged out of her new home, skidding to a stop just from the door, and deciding not to lock it, as others would probably just walk out shortly. As soon as she felt the warm August air brush her face, she lost her nerve. She felt like everyone's eyes were on her. Stiffening, she looked down at her feet and shuffled to her first class.

Casey left the office building, feigning disinterest as he glanced around the campus. It was big- bigger then any school he was used to. But that was okay. Casey could get used to that.
The girl's dormitory was nearly empty, due to most the girls either a) not having arrived at the school yet, since most students (well, most human students) went home over the summer b) looking around the school at their new classes. However, Kris happened to be neither of those things at the moment since she was fussing around the kitchen, making some cupcakes for a small school's-starting party she participated in almost every year.

Ariel actually hadn't gone home over the summer. The stress of being with both of her parents was too much, so she just stayed at the school. Her bed was already made up. It was on the edge, furthest from the door, near one of the big windows. She loved to be woken up to sunlight, so this was always her bed of choice. Her bedspread was simple. Just a blue comforter with some white pillows. There was a small, circular canopy hanging from the ceiling over her head, but it was white. On her dresser, there were lots of art supplies, neatly organized in painted jars or used, cleaned cans. She had kept her section of the bedroom clean throughout summer, but most of the rest of the room needed to be cleaned before everyone arrived, so Ariel took on that job and started to clean the room up a bit.
Jack yawned as he stepped out of the boys dorm. He looked very comfortable in his Spongebob pajama pants... And just his Spongebob pajama pants. He stumbled into one of four bathroom and chuckled. "First day of school..." He mumbled to himself, shaking his head. "Maybe I'll actually try this semester..." He laughed and shook his head. "Nah." Quickly, he brushed his teeth and put on deodorant, but didn't worry about his hair. It was always messy, no matter what anyone did to it. He smiled at himself jokingly in the mirror and strode back into the boys dorm. There, he got dressed in some loose jeans and a t-shirt that said, "a little rebellion is a good thing." It seemed to fit the moment since it was, after all, the first day of school. His section of the dorm was a mess. There were clothes everywhere and his bed wasn't made. It also had pizza boxes all over and maybe even a slice or two of pizza. However, he didn't take time to clean it up. Instead, he went down the stairs and into the kitchen. Once he saw Kris, he smiled. Silently, he creeped up behind her, then, suddenly, he ticked her side, trying not to do it so hard that she would knock over the cupcakes.

Olivia had just finished dance practice. They didn't do anything besides watch some tryouts. Tryouts were to last all week, and she had offered to help some students practice. She hurried back into the dorms and ran to her bed. She pulled out her skirt and shirt, then slipped a tie on with them. Gathering her things, Olivia hurried out the door.
Lium was leaning against the wall outside. He had a few buddies, but he liked being alone sometimes, too. He also enjoyed picking on people. So when Jodi emerged, he grinned and started walking beside her. "Hey, new kid. Mommy and daddy send you here to scare some sense into their rowdy kid?" He eyed her up and down and smirked. "No, you look too prude for that."

Casey walked the way to the dorm, curiously eyeing the surroundings and evaluating the few students that still meandered around the campus. Continuing along the main road, Casey soon found the large Victorian-esque home that served as their dorms.

Jack laughed, but he let go. "Mornin Kris." He smiled at her, then chuckled. "You've got a little frosting on your cheek." He wiped it off with his thumb. "Right under your eye." He chuckled. "You can kill me now." He joked, holding his hands up in surrender.

Kris pointed her spatula at him with a threatening glare, but instantly forgot as the oven timer beeped. "Did you pick up your schedule yet? I wanna know if weve got any classes together." She asked as she bent over to slip out the cupcake pan.

"Oh yeah. I got it yesterday. It's lost though so I gotta get a new one." Jack shoved his hands in his pockets, then frowned when he felt paper. "Never mind." He pulled it out and set it on the counter. It was folded sloppily. "You need any help with the cupcakes?" He asked, enjoying the smell.

"Nah, that was the last batch. Ive just got to ice 'em." Kris skimmed over the sheet. "Hmm. We've got World History together. That seems about it." She pursed her lips. "What a bummer. Taking theater screwed up my schedule, so ive got it backwards to all the other seniors..."

"I was thinking about taking theatre actually. I might now since you'll be in it. I think I can get my schedule changed. Rather do theatre than home economics." Jack put his schedule back in his pocket. "Oh and I'm still helping frost them." He insisted.
Ariel finished cleaning the room in a short amount of time surprisingly. There were still a few messy areas, but the students could get those. She had gotten most of it, so it didn't matter. She looked outside and smiled at the new students. She was very excited for this school year. She had been able to hold Leira in the entire year before. Although she kept on nagging Ariel about how she wasn't using her body and mind strength right. However, Ariel planned to get help from other half demons to help ignore it. And become friends with others as well of course. She quickly put on her school uniform, picking the skirt that hit her knees, and wearing a button with and tie instead of the blazer because it was fairly warm out. She checked the time as she grabbed her bag and rushed out the dorm, down the stairs, and out the front door. She figured she should find her classes, since she didn't know where they all were.

Kris rolled her eyes but didnt protest, grabbing one of the icing containers and beginning to swirl the frosting onto the cupcakes. "Psssh, nahh... you dont have to do that. Home ec is alright, and its kind of required to graduate high school. Unless you already took it a couple years back like a sensible person."
Although Casey heard commotion from the kitchen as he slipped into the house, he decided to go straight to the boy's room to claim an okay spot.

"Freshman year. I still remember Ms. Hearchy's voice." Jack cleared his throat. "Okay shtudaaaants! Welcome to home eeconomikesh!" He groaned. "I can't handle that woman again." He started to frost some of the other cupcakes.
Ariel bit her lip and stepped into the school. She thought about trying for dance team, but she had massive stage fright. "And besides... You only know jazz and ballet. The school does more upbeat stuff... Maybe if I'm invited to tryout, but I think I'll just stick to art." She thought to herself as she stared at her schedule. She had science first. Great.

She shut the oven off, and in the place of the blinking zeroes appeared the time. "7:00." Kris read. "We should probably hurry. We've only got forty-five minutes..."
