Lium scowled at the two. "I may not be some Ken doll, but I don't kill innocent people." he snapped. He turned back to Jodi, rolling his shoulders back so they were straightening his back and neck. "Look, you can either know what really happened, or you can go about the rest of your lives confused and ignorant." he said lowly.

Kris darted up the stairs, hurrying to avoid detection. She had always hated lingering by the roof too much, unlike most Gargoyles, but then again she was always the one who had had the most close-misses in spottings; Kris had to agree it was the stealthiest place if you were avoiding detection.

"Not far." Kris said before pushing open a door that clearly read 'EMERGENCY EXIT - DO NOT ENTER'. Opening the door, they ended up on the roof, and Kris set Lilly down gently against the wall.

Lium smirked with amusement and glanced down at Jodi's disappointed look. He ignored Lilly and Kris. "I know a nice cedar that you could climb. I'll take you there if... Hmm, you probably don't want to go anywhere near me after this so I guess I'll do my best to give you directions..." he murmured to her.
