Full Name: River Linn Locke
Nick Name: Linny for his good friends, Locke for most teachers and for the public.
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Species (Vampire, human, demon, or gargoyle): Gargoyle
Description (include species description): River is tall, lanky, and healthy, with very fair skin and sapphire blue eyes that are so deep and bright he must cover them with cloudy blue contacts. He has light blonde hair, almost white, and a beautiful essence to him. When not in uniform he prefers button up shirts and scarves in pastel colors.
In his gargoyle form, his sapphire eyes shine through the contacts, and his hair turns a silvery white. His skin forms into a metallic ice crystal, gleaming in the sun. It is matched with a very long white furry tail, and his horns curve like ram's horns.
Personality (doesn't need to be too detailed. Be sure to leave room for your character to grow): River is kind hearted, but distant. He's a loner but he does like company. He's naturally intellegent and even a bit romantic, but can be very cold and sharp at times to those who he does not like. He often talks to himself, and can be slightly delerious at times and space out. The roof is his home even more so then other gargoyles because of the cold breeze that sweeps in. He has many layers to him and is extremely mysterious and naturally attractive, with a graceful fulfillness and a longing to be back in the mountains. He will stand for what he believes in, and if he gets angry it's often passive aggressive. He holds a lot of things in and doesn't want to be a bother, and when he gets attatched to someone he'll often always find a way into their activities, just to help and make their lives easier. He repays favors hugely, and sometimes goes overboard and doesn't help himself. He's pretty mature and is not used to other teenagers, but he's very used to responsibility. The only thing he's not used to is hiding his identity as a gargoyle.

A snow search and rescue found him and brought him to their headquarters/hospital. He was already in his gargoyle form, and they had no idea how to react, but once he did wake they showed him hospitality, clothed him and gave him some soup. He stayed there for days, and they found out what he was as the days progressed. Once he was in good shape he'd even go out with them and help them find survivors in avalanches. He learned to work medically with patients, entertain them, and make food for them. The team became his family. He'd usually stay at the hospital but at times would go home with them. Days became months and months became years and he grew even closer to the group. They had named him River Linn Locke, using the last name of the founder of the hospital. He grew up to be a beautiful and caring boy, but never really got to see real society. They decided that he was eighteen, and would need to learn how to fit in with the world. They found Highgate and immediately became creature supporters, and decided to send him there to learn culture. River feels very torn from his home and the mountain he watched over for nine whole years.
